Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of hondosignco.com and any purchase made from Hondo Sign Co. Throughout these Terms, “Hondo Sign Co.,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Hondo Sign Co. By accessing our website, submitting artwork, requesting design services, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Online Store Terms

You must be at least the age of majority in your state or place of residence to make a purchase from our website.

You may not use our products or website for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose. You may not interfere with the operation or security of the website.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service, orders, or accounts when we reasonably believe an order involves fraud, abuse, unlawful content, intellectual-property infringement, threatening material, payment disputes, or violations of these Terms.

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, sizes, materials, colors, prices, and photographs accurately. Actual printed colors may vary from what appears on a monitor, phone, digital proof, or previously printed product.

Minor variations in color, cut alignment, dimensions, finishing, placement, and material are normal parts of custom printing and are not necessarily considered defects.

Product photographs and mockups are examples and may not represent the exact dimensions, scale, color, or appearance of a finished custom product.

3. Custom Orders

Many Hondo Sign Co. products are manufactured specifically for the customer. Customers are responsible for selecting the correct:

Product
Size and orientation
Material
Quantity
Finishing options
Spelling and wording
Shipping address
Uploaded artwork and design instructions

Please review all order information carefully before completing your purchase. Changes requested after production begins may not be possible and may require additional charges.

4. Customer-Supplied Artwork

Customers are responsible for checking all artwork, wording, spelling, grammar, names, telephone numbers, websites, QR codes, measurements, colors, image quality, and other submitted information.

Low-resolution, blurry, pixelated, compressed, improperly sized, or incorrectly formatted artwork may produce an unsatisfactory result. We may notify you of an obvious quality concern, but we are not responsible for identifying or correcting every error in customer-supplied files.

Submitting artwork gives Hondo Sign Co. permission to reproduce, resize, crop, adjust, print, cut, and otherwise process that artwork as reasonably necessary to complete the order.

5. Rights to Submitted Content

By uploading or submitting artwork, photographs, logos, trademarks, wording, designs, or other content, you represent that:

You own the content or have permission to use and reproduce it.
Producing the order will not violate another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
The content is not unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited.

You agree to accept responsibility for claims resulting from content you submit. Hondo Sign Co. may refuse or cancel any order that we reasonably believe could violate another party’s rights or applicable law.

6. Proofs and Approvals

When a digital proof is provided, production may not begin until the customer approves it.

Approval confirms that the customer has reviewed and accepted the design, including:

Spelling and wording
Measurements and orientation
Layout and placement
Contact information
Image quality
Cut lines
General colors and appearance

After approval, the customer is responsible for errors visible in the approved proof. Changes requested after approval may result in additional design fees, material charges, production delays, or the need to place a new order.

A digital proof is an approximation. Printed colors may differ from colors displayed electronically.

7. Design Services and Production Files

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, purchasing a custom printed product does not include ownership or delivery of editable design files, source files, production files, templates, cut files, or working files created by Hondo Sign Co.

Customers retain their rights to original artwork they supply. Hondo Sign Co. retains ownership of its pre-existing templates, production methods, layouts, design elements, and working files.

8. Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. The applicable price is the price shown when the order is placed, unless an obvious pricing or listing error occurred.

Payment must be authorized before production begins. We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order affected by a pricing error, unavailable material, suspected fraud, payment failure, or circumstances that prevent us from completing the order.

Custom quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote. If no expiration is shown, a quote is valid for 30 days unless withdrawn or replaced.

9. Production Times

Production times are estimates and begin only after we have received:

Full payment
Usable artwork
All required order information
Proof approval, when applicable

Production estimates do not include shipping time. Complex designs, large quantities, material availability, requested revisions, equipment problems, severe weather, holidays, or other circumstances may extend production time.

We will make reasonable efforts to complete orders promptly, but estimated completion and delivery dates are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

10. Shipping and Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Once an order is accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery times and tracking updates are controlled by the carrier. Hondo Sign Co. is not responsible for carrier delays, incorrect scans, weather disruptions, theft after confirmed delivery, or delivery problems caused by an incorrect address supplied by the customer.

If an order arrives damaged, contact info@hondosignco.com within seven days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the product and packaging.

11. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted as quickly as possible.

An order may be cancelled for a full refund if production has not started. Once design preparation, printing, laminating, cutting, hemming, finishing, packaging, or another production step begins, cancellation may be denied or reduced by charges for completed work and used materials.

Custom products cannot ordinarily be cancelled after production is complete.

12. Refunds and Customer Concerns

Refunds, replacements, reprints, and store credits are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Because our products are custom-made, we do not accept physical returns unless we specifically request one.

Every request is reviewed individually. We may require photographs, video, packaging images, order information, or other evidence needed to evaluate a claim. Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee a refund or replacement.

Hondo Sign Co. may approve or deny a request when a claim cannot be verified, information is incomplete or inconsistent, or there is evidence of misuse, alteration, fraud, or policy abuse.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be waived.

13. Installation and Use

Customers are responsible for selecting products appropriate for their intended environment and installing, applying, maintaining, and storing them correctly.

Hondo Sign Co. is not responsible for damage caused by:

Improper installation or application
Unsuitable, contaminated, textured, or damaged surfaces
Incorrect cleaning products
Misuse or alteration
Extreme weather or environmental exposure
Normal wear, fading, or deterioration
Failure to follow supplied instructions

14. Website Availability and Third-Party Services

Our store may use services supplied by Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, app providers, and other third parties.

We do not guarantee that the website will always operate without interruptions, delays, technical problems, or errors. Third-party services are governed by their respective terms and policies.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Hondo Sign Co. is not responsible for third-party content, products, services, security, or privacy practices.

15. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our website or services to:

Violate applicable laws or regulations
Infringe intellectual-property rights
Submit false, misleading, threatening, or unlawful content
Transmit malware or harmful code
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
Collect information about others without authorization
Place fraudulent orders or make fraudulent claims
Abuse refund, replacement, chargeback, or promotional programs
Interfere with the website or another customer’s use of it

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these restrictions.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, products and services are provided on an “as available” basis except for any express commitments stated in these Terms, our product descriptions, or our Refund Policy.

We do not guarantee that every product will be suitable for every particular purpose, surface, environment, or application.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hondo Sign Co. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from the website, an order, delayed delivery, improper installation, lost profits, lost business, or loss of use.

To the extent permitted by law, Hondo Sign Co.’s total liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount the customer paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to every customer.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold Hondo Sign Co. harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:

Content or artwork you submit
Your violation of these Terms
Your infringement of another party’s rights
Your unlawful or improper use of our products or website

19. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the website, you acknowledge that information may be processed by Shopify and other service providers needed to operate the store, process payments, fulfill orders, and provide customer service.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes relating to these Terms or purchases from Hondo Sign Co. will be handled by courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Medina County, Texas.

Before filing a legal claim, both parties agree to make a reasonable, good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically by posting a revised version on our website. Changes become effective when published unless another effective date is stated.

Your continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The Terms in effect when an order was placed will generally govern that order.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The unenforceable provision will be limited or modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, product descriptions, approved proofs, and any written custom quote, constitute the agreement between the customer and Hondo Sign Co.

If a written custom quote or signed agreement directly conflicts with these general Terms, the specific written agreement will control for that order.
